On The Road – Strzelecki Track 2025

Our team recently found themselves at Strzelecki Track via Broken Hill travelling 2500km from Adelaide to Innamincka and back. The well known Strzelecki Track stretches 475km across an ever-changing landscape. While initially Strzelecki Track was established as a stock route it’s now used as a key transport corridor for the oil and gas industry and tourism.

We love travelling to remote locations to deliver road transport projects across Australia’s vast land. Transport has certainly improved since Burke and Wills travelled through this area in 1860, Also a shout-out to the town of Innamincka who has battled on despite the 2025 floods and isolation.

Strzelecki Track has through unforgiving weather been undergoing maintenance and resurfacing. The HDS Australia team commends the many teams out in our often harsh climate working hard to keep this transport corridor on track.
