Paving the Road to the Future at Flinders University

Alexander John, one of our graduate engineers, has recently visited his place of study at Flinders University to give a presentation about life in the transport industry workforce.

Alongside Edward Chan from Aurecon, the two gave presentations covering their experiences within the transport engineering field in front of the Civil Engineering students through the AITPM – Leadership in Traffic and Transport Young Professional Network.

Alexander discussed the work that he has mostly been involved with at HDS Australia, including creating digital maps for Regional Transport Plans, Heavy Vehicle Route Assessments, Road Safety Audits, and Traffic Surveys. He also mentioned other fields that HDS Australia are involved with, including Heavy Vehicle Permits, Road Design, and even touched on our wastewater management work.
