Welcome Douglas Blankson, Senior Traffic Safety Engineer!

We are pleased to introduce Douglas as our newest team member, having commenced with us in early June.

Douglas is a Senior Traffic Safety Engineer with over 30 years of international experience in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.  He has undertaken over 500 Road Safety Audits as an Audit Team Leader / Senior Road Safety Auditor and has project managed a portfolio of minor highway / traffic engineering projects from concept stage through to detailed design.

In addition, Douglas has been involved in School Travel Plans, reviewing developments on behalf of local authorities, reviewing Traffic Impact Assessments, and has supported developers by providing traffic engineering inputs.  Furthermore, he has undertaken Traffic Engineering assessments of Ministry of Education proposals to support design development proposals of schools.

Douglas has an in-depth knowledge in road safety engineering / crash reduction investigation & methodologies and has worked with various clients on programs to reduce road trauma.
