Towards a National Standard for Non-Metropolitan Wastewater System Design
Publication Date: 27/09/2012
Author:
Design of wastewater systems for metropolitan areas is generally based on the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) code, which is appropriate where there is a significant population. For small towns, however, this can result in costly over-engineered solutions. An alternative design standard, based upon LGA of SA requirements, is discussed in this presentation by John Olson to the AWA Small Water & Wastewater Systems National Conference held at Newcastle in September 2012.
