Wellington Road secures Black Spot Program Funding!

As road safety is core to almost everything we do at HDS Australia, we were thrilled to see that we have once again been successful in assisting Alexandrina Council in securing full funding for an application under the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program. It was recently announced that a 3.1km section of Wellington Road between Mount Barker and Langhorne Creek, which has a history of crashes, will receive some much-needed rural road safety upgrades, including safety barrier, shoulder sealing, curve widening and delineation improvements.

The award of this funding for Alexandrina Council continues our history of assisting Council clients in both South Australia and Victoria in the assessment of their road network for crash trends, developing safe and sustainable solutions tailored to the environment, and successfully securing funding for these solutions to enable our Council clients to deliver safer roads and uplift our community’s well-being.
